요즈음 꼬마들부터 대학생 언니오빠까지 한결같이 흥얼거리는 노래가 있다. 

Let It Go ~

바로 천만관객이 봤다는 그 영화 Frozen(겨울왕국) 의 주제곡이다. 

2013년 11월 미국에서 처음 개봉하였고 디즈니 애니메이션 중 최고의 뮤지컬 애니메이션 영화라는 타이틀로 제 71회 골든 글로브 최우수 애니메이션 상과 방송 영화 비평가 협회로부터 최우수 장편 애니메이션 영화상등을 각가 수상하였고 주제곡 Let It Go 는 방송 영화 비평가 협회 최우수 노래상을 수상하였다.

며칠 전 Alex Boye 가 One Voice 어린이 합창단과 만든 뮤직비디오가 유튜브 바이럴 비디오가 되면서 화제가 되고 있다. 

여기 출연중인 흑인 얼음왕은 Alex Boye, 기막힌 목소리의 주인공 얼음공주 엘사역에 렉시 워커, 그리고 Masa Fukuda 의 지휘아래 One Voice 어린이 합창단이 코러스를 넣어 아프리카 음악이 교묘히 어우러진 특이하면서도 아름다운 Let It Go 를 불러주었다.

Frozen 줄거리: 

아렌델 왕국의 공주인 초능력을 갖고 태어난 언니 엘사, 그 사실의 기억이 지워진채 자라난 동생 애나, 불행히도 왕과 왕비 즉 부모님을 여의고 마법을 가졌다는 사실을 숨긴채 탑에 갇혀지내던 엘사가 여왕이 되어 처음으로 성문을 여는 날이 오는데 우연히 성을 나간 동생 애나가 이웃나라의 한스왕자(이나라의 왕이 되겠다며 의도적으로 접근한..)를 만나 사랑에 빠져 결혼하겠다고 한다. 이를 반대하는 언니 엘사는 옥신각신하다 애나의 실수로 사람들에게 마법을 들키게 되고 결국 북쪽 산으로 도망가는 과정에 의도치 않게 왕국이 영원한 겨울상태가 되어버린다. 이로인해 꽁꽁 언채로 영원히 겨울이 되어버린 나라를 구하기 위해 이 모든 것이 자신때문에 벌어진 일이라 생각한 용감하고 활달한 동생 애나는 충성스런 애완순록 스벤과 얼음장수 크리스토프, 그리고 눈사람과 팀을 이루어 얼음궁전을 짓고 살고 있는 언니 엘사를 찾아 떠난다. 중략..
